His commitment to sustainability and mindful eating is reflected not only in his daily practice in the fields and the kitchen but also in his role as the founder and head chef of “Aula Cocina Viva” in Arico, Tenerife.
In this culinary space, Kalo shares his deep knowledge and experience with those eager to explore the world of vibrant and healthy cooking. From seed to plate, he guides his students in the art of selecting the best ingredients, preparing delicious and nutritious recipes, and cultivating a deeper connection with the food they consume.

Our Chef Kalo has received training at various culinary schools: in Bulgaria (Professional Hospitality Institute), in Catalonia (Culinary School of Catalonia),Living Food School, Girona, in the Basque Country (Hospitality at the University of Deusto, Bilbao), and in the United States (Thematic Cooking at the Restaurant). I guarantee entertainment and involvement in experiencing tasty foods, discovering liberated creativity, and developing a joyful and loving attitude towards food.
